Default Review of iSilo 1.30 for iPhone

I've just posted my review to TeleRead. Just thought I'd mention it here so people could see it.

Arrow Thanks for the link

Thank you for posting the link to the article.

Just a couple of comments/tips in response to concerns raised in the article:
  1. The tap actions are completely configurable. So even though it may be hard to memorize what the defaults might be, you can assign tap actions to regions that work for you. Even if you still can not remember the assignments, you can always bring up the reminder screen by tapping the center of the screen. The defaults are merely a starting point and suggested way to do things. So a couple of tips in this regard are: a. For a given region, assign increasing actions to increasing tap counts (for example, single/double/triple tap in the default assignments gives Line Up/Screen Up/Page Top actions, correspondingly). b. Assign minor actions to single taps (e.g., Scroll Bar). For context changing actions (e.g., next page), use multiple taps as you can easily unintentionally perform a single tap.
  2. If you often use full screen and/or autoscroll, both of which are assignable tap actions, you can assign them to tap regions. This allows you to start autoscroll without having to leave full screen mode. Entering and exiting full screen is also then simply just a single (or multilpe, depending on how you have configured things) tap away.

Wow, dare we hope this ability will be added to the other versions of iSilo in the due course of time?
