Portrait/landscape bug reproduced
Thank you for the new steps. We were finally able to reproduce the problem with those steps and will be working on a fix. We plan on submitting to HP for review an update with the fix at the beginning of next week, so expect the updated version to be available in the next week or two.
Fix for Hanging on start up?
Will this update also address the hanging that occurs on startup of iSilo before it displays the list of files (usually in landscape)? This behavior happens inconsistently, but when it happens, requires a restart of the device.
I also have the rotation issue, with text off screen and the bottom 1/3 of the screen not updating. It is also seen when the book loads. The bottom portion is white, while the top is black. Thank you for fixing it.
The update with the rotation fix will be delayed until after the next update to webOS due to the problem with the current webOS version.
There is no change with regarding hanging on start up.
webOS 3.0.5 AVAILABLE
FYI: webOS 3.0.5 is finally being pushed out to the Touchpad today!
Just saw it available on mine, but won't download it until I get home tonight (don't have a real WIFI connection here at work, just tethered to my phone).
Rotation lock bug fixed and scrolling normal in webOS 3.0.5
The rotation bug is finally dead!
And scrolling is back to normal!
Unfortunately, I've had the app lock up on a gray screen when closing a book (clicking on the list view button) and also when clicking on a hyperlink to another book.
Annotation/highlighting would be terrific
I just purchased iSilo yesterday and I'm glad to have it back after missing it since my Treo 755 days. I noticed farther up the thread a mention that text selection, annotation, and highlighting should be coming. Is there any update on this? It would be an invaluable addition for me (and for others, I'd guess).
When I tap the zoom button at the top of the screen it brings up the box to do a search. Both the zoo. And search buttons do the exact same thing.
Also still waiting on an update on the addition of annotation/highlighting functions...
The magnifying glass is for search, not zoom.
So the magnifying glass and the magnifying glass with the plus sign in it are supposed to both do the same thing?
