Lost ability to annotate text with iOS 5.25

Installed iOS 5.25 last night, March 1, and this morning when I attempted to annotate the annotation cursor would not function correctly to enable the selection of text to annotate.

We are investigating the issue.

We have submitted to Apple for review an update that fixes the problem. It usually takes between one and two weeks before the update is approved and appears on the App Store for download.

I tried this multiple time, it is repeatable and does it every time.

When trying to annotate on my iPad with iOS 4.2.1 the "bubble" stays on screen and it won't let me scroll on that page. I can go between pages, but it is consistent, the "bubble" follows me. I can leave the program but when I come back nothing has changed, the bubble remains. Only turning the iPad off clears it, but I can no longer annotate.

I started having the exact same problem today. I just did an update yesterday and wonder if this is related to cause. I am no help, but reporting the same problem as this person with the annotation function making a permanent bubble in isilo. The only way I know to get rid of it is to shut down and restart, but it doesn't make the problem go away as annotations still do not work.

I too have problems with the annotation. Spent two hours trying to do it, the problem is NOT me. Finally came to that conclusion. B/c I can get both select start AND select end bubbles. And one of two things happen. Either it just simply doesn't highlight OR the second bubble will stay permanent. I can get rid of it by tapping the bottom of the screen. So I don't have to completely log put. But EXTREMELY frustrating!!!! I know I will love the app if it worked properly.

Since new update I am no longer able to annotate. The bubble is there and locks up the page. The only way out is to turn Ipad completely off then power on . This happens consistently everytime. What a pain. Cannot underline or highlight. Would rather have that back than the ability to zoom.

I HAVE AN IPAD 2, AND HAVE IOS 5, AND iSilo 6.3. I HAVE BEEN ANNOTATING WITH NO PROBLEM SINCE THE BEGINNING. YESTERDAY, I CHANGED THE BACGROUND TO BEIGE ON THE PAGE TO MAKE READING A LITTLE EASIER. NOW, ON MANY DOCUMENTS ANNOTATE IS GREYED OUT ON THE MENU. WHEN I TRY SELECTING THE FILE NAME IN THE SETTING MENU IT RANDOMLY SHOWS, AND OFTEN HAS. THE .isa SUFFIX. I HAVE NOT BEEN SAVING ANNOTATIONS UNTIL NOW, AND ALL OF THE FILES I'VE OPENED TO TRY TO GET THINGS WORKING ARE .pdp FILES, AND UNCORRUPTED. I'M WONDERING WHAT TO DO.

Two seconds without moving at all is an eternity and very frustrating. Just provide an annotate tool please.
