    Default Cyrillic search on Blackberry

I'm a blackberry user for now but after years of Palm. And I have a lot of iSilo documents. So, I got a problem - iSilo for blackberry (in contrast with version for palm) doesn't want to search words in Cyrillic, but still do it in Latin. I’m looking for advice.

Do the Cyrillic characters display without problem? What is the Encoding of the content as shown in Menu/Tools/Document Information when you have the document open?

Yes, I can print the word for search in Russian without problems. The process of search is also successful till the end, but in all cases without result. In the same documents search in English works good. Encoding - windows-1251 or unknown in some documents. With all tested examples I had no problems on Palm.

Would you be able to email a small sample document that is no more than a few megabytes that exhibits the behavior so that we can try to reproduce it? If so, please email it to . And also, please provide a sample search word that you are using.

The zip file you sent arrived corrupted. Would you be able to resend or send a smaller sample?

    Arrow Location

The new file you sent came through without a problem.

You mention that the words for testing of search are "concor" and "конкор".

A search for "concor" from top to bottom on the entire document results in the first occurrence of that word at the top of page 4243.

Can you tell us where the first occurrence of "конкор" is located in the document?

I made this experiment with my old Palm Centro. The first page I managed to see Russian variant конкор was 74 at the top of page in it’s left corner. Latin variant is also on page 4243.

P.S. I don’t know is it important for your or not, but I use blackberry 9780 with new OS6.

    Arrow Unable to locate

The first three lines on page 74 are:
    Code:
    Адреноблокирующие средства
    Бета-адреноблокаторы
    Бета1-, бета2-адреноблокаторы
On which line of page 74 is the word конкор?

Pardon, I made a mistake. Not at the top, but approximately in the middle of page. In order not to “suffer” with Russian, you can help yourself using search in Latin by the name of company - Merck - which you will see directly after the name of drug – КОНКОР КОР – Merck KGaA and then on the next line КОНКОРMerck KGaA.
