Default Symbian for Nokia 9290 or 9500

Is there any plan to make a version available for these phones? Thank You.

Though there are no present plans, I support the request for a Nokia 9500/9300 version, which I would happily buy since I have several useful documents I would like to be able to browse on my 9500 phone/pda.

I own a Nokia 9500. Please let us know if you plan now a version for that model. Many of my friends use Isilo on PDA. I don't need PDA, that's why I bought a 9500. If you are able to make a version for P900, is it very difficult to do one for 9500?

    Thank you!

    Arrow Perhaps in the future

It's not so much a matter of difficulty, but developing for a new platform requires a large investment of time and money, and diversion of resources from improving the existing platform versions. So unfortunately unless there are indications that developing for a new platform might have some overall positive payoff, developing for that new platform can not be made a priority.

I understand your point. Could it be possible to register for the will to buy a 9500/9300 version if it were developed? So that if eventually enough people asks for it, you could consider adapting to that platform.

Yes, people can do that by posting their desire for it on this thread.

I would also be interested. Porting from UIQ to Series80 is only a change in Userinterface. Most of the OS is exactly the same. Just allow keyboard input and add functions for the 4 keys on the side of the screen.

I also hope that there will be Series 60/80/90 versions of iSilo.
There are huge number of Series 60 users so it has a very big market potential. Also, Series 80 and 90 are having very similar core. I think making a version for Nokia's smartphone platform will take iSilo to much more audiences and it will be a great thing.

I, along with 3 other relatives use isilo extensively on our pda's. We also have series 60 phones which would definitely enjoy isilo content on them!
