Default Mapping network drive with Vista-No Joy

I just upgraded my iPod touch to v3.1.2 (bad idea, I know). Yesterday I was able to map the touch using vista, but now it will not connect. I deleted the Z drive and started over using your instructions. No joy! I have pinged to no avail, either. Also, in attempting to get into Server View, the server button becomes highlighted blue, but stays in that position like it is locked up. Only once in a while can I get it to work. I need help to map the network drive.

Arrow Turn device off then back on

We don't have any ideas, but have you tried powering your device off then back on to see if it makes a difference?
