Default 5.0.0.328 is not a production release

And I am still unable to run iSilo. I receive the -2027749372 error when attempting to run iSilo.

Whoops! I mean 5.0.0.328 IS a production release.

    Help please!

    Jon

    Default 5.0.0.238 OS compatiblity

Is there an older version of Isilo that will work with the upgrade OS for my Storm? If so we can that version be D/L?

I too am getting the same error. I went to sync my storm and was prompted that version 5.0 of the OS was available so I installed it. iSilo worked before this, now I get the same error as reported at the top of this thread. So far this is the only app I have found to not be working, and it's somewhat critical for me as this is the app that I use for scripture reading and at this point I am dead in the water.

I personally like to pretend that the developers and folks are so busy working on this issue that they are too busy to even post a "I'm working on it" message.

    Arrow No need to pretend

BlackBerry OS 5.0 for the Verizon Storm was officially released just over a day ago. We installed it onto a Storm 9530 and unfortunately have not been able to reproduce the problem ourselves on the device. However, meanwhile we have been looking into it regardless for possible problem areas and hope to have an updated beta available later today with some changes which we hope will solve the problem for those who are experiencing this issue.

Thank you very much for that notice. I appreciate it!

I will watch for your update and if I can cooperate to help in any way let me know.

    Post Updated beta

An updated beta has just been posted that we hope addresses the issue described in this thread. After installing the updated beta and running it, assuming you do not get an error screen, the "About iSilo" dialog should give a version number of "v. 5.09b1b".

This updated beta should no longer give an error screen showing -2027749372. If you do get an error screen showing that number, then it means you did not correctly install the updated beta. However, assuming you have installed the updated beta, if you get the error screen, please report what it says entirely and verbatim.
