It is a possibility, but we do not have any definitive plans on it at this time.
Not only iPhone, but also Sony, Verizon/iRex, Google, etc. are supporting this open format. Please do support it, otherwise soon we will have to use other readers.
Thanks
At <http://www.web-books.com/Publishing/epub.htm> They explain that the ePub format is just as zip file containing "XHTML Documents", "Packaging Files" and "Container Files".
After reading over the description of these files I find myself asking if what I should be seeking is iSiloX support of the ePub Format.
So that one could simply aim iSiloX at the ePub file and have it compile a iSilo formatted document.

I faced this problem with ISilo and solved it this way;
(1) Rename the file xxx.epub to xxx.zip
(2) Unzip the file
(3) You will have 2 directories, one of them with html files and possibly some .jpg files
(4) Install all of the files in the directory that has the html files with ISilox and the produced file will be loaded into ISilo and it will be readable.

I´m a new owner of a Sony eReader and an old fan of iSilo (palm-blackberry).
I think iSilo can do a great contribution to the this old fan community.
Let us know...
I would like to also add my voice for this feature request. I would very much like to read my iSilo books on my new ereader device.
I'd like to add my vote to the ability to get an output of something other than iSilo format. I've never found a better program for pulling multi-page content off the web (and I've looked, a lot), but I'd really like to be able to read things on my kindle or other reader, so epub format output would be awesome.
Heck, I'd be willing to pay quite a bit for a version of iSiloX that was just like it is now except I could choose to output epub as well as iSilo docs! Even better would be a conversion program (or even better a plugin for Calibre) that converted existing iSilo files to epub or whatever, though I understand that could be slightly problematic.
I am starting to use Sigil for ePub where I need distributable content. The problem with ePub as well as pdb is the reliance on the external annotations file. ePub though offers the ability to insert annotations as part of the distributable. The vendor that incorporates this wins.
