iSilo features / improvements you would like to see?

1. Most Important! - full range of multitouch capability, including zooming in and out with finger gestures.

2. Close 2nd in importance - Better/Smoother scrolling; have most recent update, better but still no where near as smooth as safari or other programs

3. Screen Rotation

- other issues would be nice but not near as important as above...
4. Better update process - mainly when I update there is no loss of the data bases that are currently on my device. Last few upgrades - had to reinstall all the databases.

5. Easier file transfer, etc...

6. Active Scroll Bar

7. Limitless font size sounds nice, but is last on my list

another request:

what I just loved about the latest isilo version for PPC was the possibility to annotate files. Not seeing it in the iphone version meant i lost some good information in the files. Seeing this implemented would be THE BEST!!!!

I'd like it if, when I tried to search for a new keyword, I didn't have to click that X everytime to delete the last word I searched for. Most of the time I start entering a new search term without looking and it just appends it on the end of the last one. Grrr.

Actually, I need to be able to transfer files to my iPhone without any computer being available at all. Instead, just a file server, eg., a NAS that just has a web server running.

If iSolo® removes that capability, the application would be of very limited use in my situation, so I hope they continue to support & improve that mechanism!

I've been a happy iSilo user since 2003 (started on my Clie, then a couple of windows mobile devices and now I'm setting myself up to use it as my main reader on my new iPhone), but there's one feature I would love to see added.

How hard would it be to add a thumbnail feature? As in, you could specify a maximum image size to store in a document and it it exceeded that size, the image was kept as a smaller thumbnail you could tap, which would take you to the full size picture/image which you could scroll around in, or even zoom in/out of.

This would be an amazing feature for me personally.

The feature for iSilo for iPhone that I would most like to see is a new, Mac Intel/Universal Binary version of iSilo X for Mac OS X! It's been almost three years, and no updates. I worry that the current 4.x version may not be compatible with Apple's next OS, Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard due to the fact that it is not optimized to run natively on Macs with Intel processors.

I would love to be able to download some Window OS apps. Will this be possible in the future and is there a process now?

1. Make single/double/triple tap an enable/disable feature. It really gets in the way when using documents that are link heavy, it never fails that a link will be right in the middle of the screen where single tap is. Plus I always accidentally make the scroll bar come up on accident. I have never used the tap feature and it would be nice to turn on or off.

2. Is there a copy feature that allows you to click and drag like the one for the palm os? It has the copy entire screen, page and document but it would be nice to copy and drag like every other program on the iPhone and the isilo version on palm os. I do this often to text bi le verses to my wife and friends but now it's harder to do. Thanks for listening.
