questions about Hotsync and page jumps
I've been moving from Sunrise/Plucker on a Treo to iSilo/iSilox & can't figure out a few things.
1) I can't get the PDBs iSilox produces to automatically hotsync to the Treo. I thought that specifying the location in iSilox would do it -- but while iSilox did in fact create the directory \Program Files\palmOne\XXXX\iSiloI and dutifully places the files there, they don't get transferred unless I open Palm Quick Install and use that.
I've created a subdirectory on my SD card for the purpose as well (Palm\Launcher\iSilo).
2) using the directions here

I managed to get iSilox to use Firefox cookies to get the NY Times RSS feeds. This only seems to work about half the time, still an improvement over Sunrise -- however a bigger problem I'm having is that the second pages of articles are inevitable hashed. Not just for Times stories either -- every jumped page that iSilox creates results in what basically looks like a very large collection of links. I've looked all over the Settings page for each feed and haven't been able to find a way to experiment.

the hotsync issue has apparently straightened itself out I'm happy to say.
but not the jumps. as an example, try the Atlantic Monthly feed

first pages come out fine for me -- second pages are a mess of links.
