strange conversions

sometimes when I convert a document I lose some letters.

for instance, in one long document, any time the letters "F" and "L" appear next to each other, well....isilox seems to get confused. Like the word "muffled" will come out "muf?d". What's up with that? Can I somehow fix it?

or "c" and "l" become a "d". Like "clear" becomes "dear"

hmmmmmm...as I write this, I wonder if changing the font before conversion would be a viable work around?

Do you have an example source html file you can attach that we can use to reproduce the problem to determine the cause?
