Angry Newbie having problems with program freezing

    Program freezes
Since I am brand new to the program, I realize the problem I'm having may be of my own making. I have a Treo 600 and installed the trial version. At first it appeared to be fine, but then it froze up and I couldn't exit the program or get anything to work. Finally I manually hit reset and everything else on the PDA seemed to work OK. However, when i went to ISilo it showed a blank where data had been. The icons were at the bottom of the screen but again the PDA froze until I manually reset it. I don't know if perhaps there is something with the Treo OS that doesn't agree with it, or perhaps the data. I can run the same data 50,000 lines in C-Spot and it runs OK. Any help would be appreciated. The program appears to be exactly what I need if I can get it to work.

    Question Please provide more information

What version of iSilo are you using?

It sounds like the problem you are having may be related to the document you are attempting to view. Could you provide a link to where the document can be downloaded?

It is the latest version because I just downloaded it the day before yesterday. The data is not an e-book. It is a list of 50,000 books. Because of the size of the list I can't find anything to read it on other than an e-book reader. It works on C-Spot but the problem with that is to search you have to put the percentage down in increments of 10% and that leaves a lot of scrolling to get to a book. The books are all alphabetized by author prior to downloading to the program. Isilo now freezes up just when I turn it on and I have to manually reset the PDA. I thought I had my problem solved when I first used ISilo because of the features but now I don't know. Even if you can't help, I really appreciate your answering my post.

    Question Please clarify

It doesn't matter whether the document is an "e-book" or not. Any file or database you use iSilo to view is generically called a document.

How did you create the list you mention? Or did you download it from somewhere? Or maybe I am misunderstanding you. Maybe the list is not a single file that has 50,000 lines? Please clarify.
