Opening .pdb files and files appear encripted

I recently installed isilo for the pocket pc axim v5.1 and when I open any .pdb file the files appear with unrecognizable characters similar to opening a binary file. These character are mixed with recongized characters but the file is not viewable in this mode. What do I need to do. I also get the trial period screen with the register button and when I select the register button I am asked for the license code but I want the trial version for now to try this out. What do I do???

It sounds like the .pdb files you are attempting to open are neither in iSilo nor Palm Doc format, in which case you will not be able to use iSilo to properly view them. If you could post one of the files you are attempting to view, we can take a look to verify and hopefully help you determine what application you do need.
