    Default Sluggish scrolling

I can't believe how ridiculously slow and sluggish the scrolling is on android. I am currently running android 2.3.3 on a Samsung Galaxy with the latest version of iSilo. I tried iSilo on a Galaxy Nexus running android 4.0 and it's even worse, almost to the point of not being usable.

It's like the iSilo developers are shunning android because the scrolling is perfectly smooth on iOS.

I have exactly the same issue. I have been using isilo since the gingerbread version. Even with Nexus 4, with it's quad core, and v 4.2.1 of jelly bean os, it is still hopelessly sluggish. Even a 3-4 year old iPhone 3g beat it in smoothness. Could I request for a response on this issue please? I hope this sluggishness issue does not come as a surprise to iSilo?

    Arrow Tables?

Scrolling on the Android platform version of iSilo is a different experience from that of iSilo on iOS. A lot of work has gone into making it the best it can be given the circumstances and we do not see that is currently has any usability problems.

If the document you are viewing does not require any special layout, try disabling all layout to see if it helps.

Hi, many thanks for the reply. I have tried disabling all layout but do not see any improvements.
You are right, usability wise there are not big issue. It is just the poor user experience the sluggish performance brings. Could you share of there are plans to tune the scrolling experience?
    Many thanks.

We continually look for ways to improve it. However, there are currently no new insights that we can utilize.

Sorry, but if a quad core Nexus 7 cannot scroll text smoothly, the problem is not with the tablet, it's with the reader software. You guys also need to wake up and implement pinch gestures for zooming. This is 2013, and you are charging $12 for a glorified text viewer that doesn't even run properly.

Lately there have been a number of my friends who have purchased the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 to run ISilo to read the watchtower library. It would be appreciated if ISilo could purchase the technology to improve the scrolling experience. It is very distracting to the eyes when scrolling to see the text jumping raggedly.

All the ebook readers (Adobe reader, moon reader, qPDF, Aldiko) I have tried on the Note 2 scrolls smoothly on the Note 2 so I believe ISilo should invest in purchasing the programming technology to do so.

Hope the programming team can do something about this.
