Default Does highlighting work on BlackBerry Playbook?

I have version 6.06 and I cannot figure out how to highlight text. The Point Assist is bad enough (only able to select starting 15% of the time), but even after the text is selected, and I add some annotation text, I never get highlighting. The manual says to press the Back button, but there are no buttons on the Playbook. What do I do? I love iSilo and have multiple licenses for different devices, but the Playbook version (bought from the App Store) is impossible to use to make notes. Please help. There must be a way. Thanks.

    Arrow Yes it does

Yes, annotations work on the BlackBerry Playbook. Use the Select Start mode of Point Assist to set the start of the selection, then set the end of the selection.

On the screen where you enter the comment and select the color, if the keyboard is shown, you need to hide it first before you can see the back icon in the lower left. You can hide the keyboard by selecting a control that does not take text input, such as the highlight color list, or tap the keyboard icon at the lower left of the keyboard that has a small downward pointing arrowhead right below it.
