Auto Scroll - too fast

Dear Sirs
The auto scroll is too fast. I have to keep stopping and restarting it.
I use an iPhone 4s. Can you make it so the user can regulate the speed, please?

While autoscrolling, you can set the autoscroll speed to any of 20 levels. To do so, tap near the bottom of the content view above the scroll bar to fade in the autoscroll speed control bar. To increase the speed, tap a dot to the right. To decrease the speed, tap a dot to the left. Each dot increment increases the speed by one third.
