I use the Palm Tungsten C. I've downloaded, purchased & registered a current version of the iSilo reader to view the CIA World Handbook 2004 (lawPDA). To work, the World Handbook requires entering a registration code, and gives these instructions:

... 4) Open iSilo in your device by tapping on its icon.

5) Tap on the document name(s) in the iSilo document list, not on the “unregistered” button of the iSilo document list, this will bring up the registration screen for that document that says: “The document named: “name of the document you’ve purchased” requires a registration code please enter it below. Enter document registration code.” You should now enter the registration code exactly as provided in this message...."

But, when I tap on the iSilo icon, I get no such screen: It goes directly to
the home page of the "World Handbook" (which won't work since it needs a
registration code). Also: A iSilo "Support" says that when I tap the icon a link to a help manual entry (part of the download) should come up. It
doesn't. I tap the icon; it (again) goes directly to the "World Handbook".

I've erased and repeated the download and installation process twice. Stll the same.

(Help/ideas would be very much appreciated.)

You need to close the document by tapping on the X in the lower left. You should then be back in iSilo's document list view.

Try this version of the CIA World Factbook, it's never asked me for an extra code to run it and it's newly updated as well.
