I have posted elsewhere about problems with Categories and duplicate file entries. While iSilo knows of some issues related to this, I have come to the conclusion that these problems are entirely due to the Zire 71 and its poor handling of SD card recognition - and this is the case even with the Zire71SDPatch2 applied.
I think all users of iSilo and the Zire 71 who have multiple SD cards they swap in and out (and possibly only one card which gets swapped in and out ocassionally) will see this problem. I would like to hear from similar users if they see this problem.
The problem manifests itself as duplicate listings of files that reside on SD cards.
If you check the Information for each file, you will see that one file resides on a 'real' SD card while the other resides on some card you have never formatted - mine say "Card 1".
iSilo gets mixed marks in handling this case. The two files work (with the 'real' card inserted) - complete with separate histories, but I think iSilo should not let me open "Card 1" files at all. Delete Special : Synchronize DB Entries seems to clean up the problem after it occurs.
Please reply if you have a similar experience.
