Hi,

I'd like to send you some feature requests for iSiloX on Windows:
Ability to sort the items in the list by clicking the column headings (at least a sort by Title and Source is needed). This is needed for better grouping and visualization of entries in a big list.
Possibly a "preview" feature in iSiloX after conversion (many sites for some reason do not convert properly - to troubleshoot I try different settings, but have to synch to Palm each time to see if the site converted properly ... after the 4th or 5th attempt it gets quit annoying).
Categorize entries directly from iSiloX (this would save me from having to categorize on the palm after synching new items).
An option to group entries in the iSiloX list according to folders (for example: I'd like to have a folder where I place all "news-related" sites, another one to group all "sport-related" sites, another to group "comic clips", and another to group non-scheduled sites etc.) - currently I have about 30 items in my list (in one file of course) with no grouping whatsoever, which is not so friendly to look at (especially without a sorting feature!). These folders do not necessarily need to be the iSilo "categories" I mentioned before.
Add a new column to the list title "Scheduled" with values either "Yes" or "No" - this would allow me to quickly tell if an entry has an assigned schedule or not.

Hope you will consider them all (at least some of them ... my priorities are "sorting", "grouping-by-folder", and the "Scheduled" column)! :D

Seasons greetings to all,
Joe

Is this different from the "Document Properties/Document/Default Category" capability?

My oh my, it sure it is! :D This feature escaped my eyes (believe me I went into each tab on several occasions ... never saw it before).

So ... you can cross that request off my list.

With this feature present though, I would still like to be able to view the list in iSiloX grouped according to these categories (it could a file browser type setup with only 2 levels ... the first level could be "folders" which are the "categories", and the second level could be the iSilo documents themselves inside their assigned category/folder). Unassigned documents could be placed in an "Unfiled" folder/category.

Hi iSilo admins,

Any idea if any of my previous suggestions at the top of this thread may make it into the next release of iSiloX?

Kind regards,
Michael
