I'm not sure I'm right on this but I've recreated the problem a couple times so thought I'd submit it for your review . . .
When I converted a file in iSiloX with the lossy compression option set and then unselected lossy compression and reconverted the file, it seems the conversion was still done with lossy compression (I can't tell for sure this is the case but the file size did not increase and the images were not viewable in iSilo 3.x so that was my conclusion). When I created a new document in iSiloX and brought over all the same settings, it compiled without lossy compression as ordered (ie. the file size was 9 times bigger).
Pretty small problem in the big scope of things but thought I'd share.
