First time forum user.
I am able to convert my Microft Word docments to html then use ISiloX to convert them to a usable format on my palm. Why can't I use ISiloX to do the same on my Word files directly? (I've tried and can't seem to get it to work) Michael

iSiloX simply does not support the undocumented Microsoft Word format. At best, Microsoft may have provided some manner of using Word to convert between document formats, but I doubt it. Do you know of any other programs that reliably read Microsoft Word files?

HTML, on the other hand, is well documented and easy to understand.

The problem boils down to costs versus gains. The developers could expend a significant amount of effort attempting to reverse-engineer/implement the Word format, or they could politely ask that users first "Save As A Web Page...".
