I've installed this version on my SE p900 and when I try to open it, it crashes with:

Ok here my contributions:

1. It only works in c: (lot of people want more RAM/C: memory free so its a bad thing)
2. It makes a sound when using links (an a horrible one, makes me crazy)

3. Cant use another app while iSilo is in use as SMS text (u recive the alert but cant get it to read it, too much disapp)

4. As a html offline browser text doesnt "fix well" in P800 small screen and it takes several seconds while Isilo is trying to do it for finally do it worse :rolleyes:

I think you are saying that the text doesn't appear well-formatted on the display. Also, the display looks worse for your document at it performs the table formatting step.

If you post the source document, then we can provide tips on conversions. Here are some general tips on what you said:

In "iSiloX/Document Properties/Tables", play around with the "Unfold full-page top-level tables" and "Ignore pixel width specifications" options.
Alternatively, in the same location you can "Ignore All Table Formatting".
If you can't/don't wish to recreate the document, you disable the formatting step (the one where it gets worse), under "Options/Display/Layout" while reading the document.

Hi, I am a Motorola A925 Uiq user. I have been long for the UIQ release of Isilo and today I download the beta of iSilo™ 4.2 beta2 for Symbian UIQ.
Although it stated that it is for SE P8XX and P9XX only but I can install the program without any errors.

However, when it comes to operation, there are several errors.
First, I cannot open option, the program will have errors whenever a click on option.
Second, Chinese Character cannot be displayed properly.
Third, the english font is not of proper display.
And Lastly, after times of trials, even the demo docs cannot be read.

I do hope that isilo modify the new version that A925 can also run smoothly without any problem. I believe that isilo can rule all the reader market and I will be very much happy to see your A925 compatible release.

The programs is not yet stable but working for a925
except
i) the option function is not working and crash the program
ii) as the option is not working, big5 chinese is not readable, but unicode one is ok
iii) sometime the program crash withE32User-Cbase problem and can't heal even after restart at all..
if they are fixed

After test repeatedly
the program works better in vibrate mode of A925
in ring mode, errors always occurs

still Unicode chinese is readable
however, option is not accessible and big5 is not readable
the stablity of the program can be enhance by fixing these errors

I am also a Motorola A925 user and I must say I didn' manage to open any document with 4.2 version in ring mode - program closes with error:
Reason code E32USER-CBase
Reason number 42
In vibrate and silent mode it seems to work good, but it's quite funny vibrating on each link :D

As petlife wrote, "options" makes the program crash with message:

so as does tapping "favorite folder alias" with error message:

Pages with codepage Windows 1250 have "bushes" instead of CE letters while in iSilo 4.0 for Palm they are OK (the same pdb files)
I have also a question about purchase - I am iSilo for Palm owner. Will there be either a lower price for me (as for upgrade) or will the password for Palm work on my Symbian phone (I can't check it, as tapping the "register" or "unregistered" button makes program crash with the same message as "options" button)?

I have this working GREAT on my palm pilot, but am trying to install the Symbian version (properly purchased) on my Motorols A 925...

The A925 is not yet officially supported by "iSilo for Symbian UIQ". However, there is an alpha version (e.g., pre-beta) that you can try. You can download it from here (http://www.iSilo.com/info/beta/dl/iSilo430a2UIQ.sis). If you give it a try, please report back on your success or failure.
