automatic retrieval during hotsync

i was wondering if there is a way to automatically retrieve webpages during hotsync..?

Not easily, but I think that scheduled conversions (http://isilox.com/support/manual/iSiloX/ReferenceManual/DocumentProperties/Scheduling.htm) are better in the majority of cases (continuous news channels being an exception). Perhaps we can come up with a better alternative if you tell us why you want to use automated retrievals. :)

I do have an alternative.

I use both installbuddy and handbase.
the handbase conduit has a "run command after sync" option which I have put

c:\progra~1\isilo\isilox\isilox -s -x myisilo.ixl

This syncs isilox, it updates all the documents, and then installbuddy runs and puts them on the handheld.

This in effect is my "avantgo" method.

But saying that I have BBC News scheduled to update every hour, so when I hotsync I pretty much get the latest news on my PDA.

What if I don't use Handbase...?

Any other method to do this...?
