I just upgraded from 4.0 to 4.01 on my Palm m505. I keep all my documents in an external card, and this has always worked fine. Now, when I try to launch iSilo, I get an error message "There is not enough memory to run the application".

There is nothing else running in my Palm, and I even shut off Launcher III.

4.0 worked in this unit. If the memory requirements changed, I sure wish that would have been pointed out in bigger print. Anyone know where I can re-download 4.0?

thanx

The size of version 4.01 increased a little over 2K from version 4.0. That is a small amount, so if you were using version 4.0 before and it worked okay, then you may have very little free memory and were very close to the limits before. Other than that small increase to the required memory for the application file itself, all working memory requirements are the same as they were before, namely:

128K free internal storage memory (256K recommended)
256K free internal storage memory for viewing documents on memory expansion cards (512K recommended)
Note that if you have iSilo stored on the memory card that you must additionally have enough free internal memory for the Palm OS to be able bring iSilo into the internal memory to run it. Version 4.01 is 389K in size, so to be safe, you should have 400K additional. If you also use Font Silo, then that is an additional 22K. This means that if you have iSilo on the card and read documents from the card, you need approximately 700K (400K+256K+22K=~700K) free internal storage memory.

Have the requirements changed any to version 4.32? I can't see anything about this in the documentation at all.

I've been using an old palm m130 as an ebook reader, and with only 8 megs available, no memory card, I like to squeeze as much out of the memory as possible. When filez was reporting around 270k free, isilo was refusing to load until I cleared out a little more space... or at least I think that's what it was saying.

No, the requirements have not changed. What is the specific message you are getting?
