Is there any chance of getting clipper support for Firefox/Mozilla?

Thanks,
Roderick

This issue has come up before.

Your best bet (although I haven't used it) is probably iPaste, discussed here.

The aforementioned links were brought to you by the handy search function. ;)

I've been following the discussions and I'm aware of the various options for automating clipping from the browser.

But again, I would like to see a solution from DC & Co instead of a kludge or hack.

Firefox is gaining momentum and should be supported...

Respectfully,
Roderick

I don't know if I would call iPaste a "kludge or hack"...

I was more interested in pointing out that the subject had been raised before. Since you were apparently aware of these posts, it would have been more polite had you posted in an existing thread. That is all. :)

Roderick, You want an embedded solution?

I've been an advocate of Isilo for years, and I do, much to my un-delight, use Internet explorer as my primary browser at work. The main reason is isilox clipper.

AGYPaste I feel is not a kludge or hack, but a valid program utilising the benefits of DCs IsiloXC tool. I use it and Firefox at home much to my delight, and have been testing it with te developer for a little while. Once a few things are ironed out I will be moving firefox on to the work machine. I also use isiloxc and konqurer on my linux box.

So - sometime you have to grin and bear the indiginities of IE with DC's clipper, or use AGY.

Maybe talking to Mozilla, DC, and the Forum here you could make a plug-in yourself?

Looks as if that may be the only solution in this instance. Thanks for the replies gentlemen.

There is a Mozilla plug-in called IEView. When you right-click the page you want, you can select 'View this page in IE'.

It's 1 extra step, but not too bad. It' still better than iSiloX because sometimes I want to clip from websites requiring registration. With iSiloX I don't know if I need to configure cookies, blah blah. With the iSilo Clipper I know that what I view in the browser is what I will get in my iSilo file.
