Hello,
Can anybody tell me, how to make iSilo show tables quicker. The problem is that I have a file aproximately 250 kb which has a lot of tables and pictures (diagrams) in it. So I have to wait till it loads completely before the tables are shown correctly.
Thank you.

Honestly? I think your choices are to do without table formatting, break the document up into smaller pieces, or buy new hardware. The last option may not be a viable option for you, but I will tell you that table formatting is slow even on my TH55 (not that it is the pinnacle of speed).

If you have an OS 5 device, then perhaps you can request a table-formatting armlet from the developers.

There are no options you can set to make table formatting faster. If you have a particular document for which you reference often and need things in a tabular layout, you have two options. One option is to create a large image of your table and convert that to iSilo format. The other option, assuming your data is all text, is to use preformatted text with a monospace font as exemplified by the Preformatted Text Tabular Data (http://www.isilo.com/support/sample/iSiloDisplaySample/pre/pretable.htm) example in the iSilo Display Sample document.

As for an armlet for table formatting, that will most likely not happen as given the way things work, it would be too complex to be feasible. After Palm OS 6 comes out and after a native version of iSilo for that platform is available, then you can expect some improved speed.

Thanks for your help.
Converting tables to pictures is a good variant. As well as splitting the document into pieces. Unfortunately these variants make the document partially unsearchable. Either we don't have the whole document or we can't search the text contained in the tables.
But thanks anyway.

Oh, I just thought about a possibility not to CONVERT tables into pictures but to ADD a picture of a table. So we would have both: the table in a proper layout (as a picture) and the text of the table without formatting.
So thank you.
