I'm having problem sending iSilo files to the external card of Palm Tungsten T. I have iSilo 3.3 and had been using it for about a year. I can't quite pinpoint when or what happened but now the files won't go to the external card. I have about 50 files in the iSilo directory in the external card and only some of them show up on the list. The new files would get transferred to that directory by HotSync (so iSiloX seems to be OK) but won't show up in the list. I could send a file to the Palm card and then copy it to the external card, and then it would show up. I have reinstalled both iSiloX and iSilo and re-registered the conduits, and Refresh and Synch the list and still have the problem.
A related question is can I just copy the converted file (via explorer) to the iSilo directory ? It's much faster than HotSync.
Thanks.

Usually when they "wont' go to the external card" it means that iSilo is installed on the card and not in main memory (the "Palm card"). However, you later indicate the files are copying properly.

I believe there is an option for the iSilo for Palm OS 3.35 Document View to scan directories on the external card for new files. Look for an option along the lines of "document list refresh". There should also be a manual refresh option ("Tools/Refresh").
If you are truly using 3.3, though, this option would not be present.

That should work if you use the proper directories ("/Palm/Programs/iSilo" and "/Palm/Launcher").

1. If the current category is not All, change it to All and see if the documents appear.
2. Go to the Options menu, tap Document List, and in the Document List Options form, make sure that under Document types to list, you have iSilo 3.x checked. If not, check it and tap OK.
3. How much free internal storage memory do you have? Go to the Tools menu and tap System Information to find out. If there is not enough memory, iSilo will not be able to create new entries for the new documents it finds. To be safe, try to ensure that you have at least 512K of Storage memory Free as shown in iSilo's System Information screen.
