I read a lot of Slashdot on my Palm (download it everyday with iSiloX).

When I spot an interesting article I'd like to bookmark it to review it later... Problem is... There is no access from the PC to the iSilo bookmarks. Even worse, if I update the Slashdot documents, all the articles I marked disappear!

The easiest way I can think that would help me is if a bookmark would export to as memo with the text of the bookmark and the original URL. Then it will be saved in the HotSync and I'll be able to access it.

Any chance for that?

You are not the first to ask for such functionality.

Even worse, if I update the Slashdot documents, all the articles I marked disappear!

I think you can address that problem by using "Local" bookmarks instead of "Document" bookmarks (the option is available when creating the bookmark). I don't know how well iSilo handles the situation of the document changing while the bookmarks stay the same, so let us know how it works out for you. (In my experience, the bookmark is somehow attached to the content as you would hope In other words, the bookmarks follow the original anchor point when the document changes. However, I read books which are composed of a single page.)

Failing that, you may wish to tag the day onto the Slashdot title (using the new iSiloX functionality). You'll be using more space (since you will have multiple copies), but you will also have more time to review marked topics.
