Double-tap to select a word

To make it easier to copy text from iSilo it would be useful to be able to double-tap a word to select it for copying and to tap three times to select a line. It would also be useful if simply changing from edit mode to view mode would copy any selected text to the clipboard (why else would you have selected it?).
