When compiling a website from my local hard drive (with all links within the root directory) using iSiloX I'm getting a message saying:
"Unable to open: file:///c%3a/documents%20and%20settings/MYNAMEHERE/my%20documents/my%20webs/DirA/DirB/DirC/DirD/number"
Usually when I've gotten this error it means there's a broken link. Yet when I search within the website (including the source code) for the text string of this link it isn't found within the web and I can't figure out how to identify the location of this broken link to fix it.
Any suggestions?

How big is the web site? Would it be possible to zip that site and post it?
Alternatively, you could post the URL.

The website is not that big (a couple MB) but I can't post it because it contains confidential/proprietary information. I'll have to hope someone can help with just the generic info I'm able to make public.
I think the problem has something to do with internal hyperlinks vs. external hyperlinks within my web. When I create a new web page (I use MS FrontPage 2003), link destinations are absolute (ie. C://MyDocs/DirA/DirB/page.htm) until the new web page is saved at which point it the link destination becomes relative (page.htm). The page which the error message says it can't open is a absolute link but when I search the whole website, there are no occurences of the text
Another unusual thing is that the link listed in the error message I posted is "Path/Path/Path/number" not "Path/Path/Path/number.htm" It's like it's trying to link to a folder rather than a page.
Any suggestions are welcome.

The messages always list the full path (i.e., formed from the path of the linking source file and the specified target URL), so maybe try to search for just the last part of the path (e.g., "number") in your source files.
