Replacing deceased Palm Vx with Tungsten E

3/8/04 - Purchased iSilo 4.x for Palm Vx (OS 3.1). Worked great. 8/29/04 - Palm Vx died. Tungsten E (OS 5.2.1) arrived today. Will iSilo 4.x work in new Tungsten E or should I upgrade to iSilo 4.10? If upgrade is necessary, should I do this before installing Tungsten software? How to proceed? Lotta moving parts here; HELP!

If you are using the same HotSync name so that everything on your Vx transfer to your new Tungsten E, you should perform your first HotSync before you install version 4.1 on your Tungsten E. Otherwise, you can install in any order.

Version 4.x refers generically to any minor version number updates to major version number 4. This includes both version 4.0, 4.01, 4.05, and the current version 4.1.

If you had downloaded the release version that was current on 3/8/04, that would have been version 4.01. Version 4.01 will also work on your Tungsten E.
