I would like to buy iSilo 4.1 for Windows as windows reader for pdb files. I have downloaded from www.fictionwise.com a file called "9/11 commission report" at iSilo pdb format. But when I read from iSilo 4.1 trial version. There happened as always the first quote " and character in a sentence or caption line missed. As the title it should read "WE HAVE SOME PLANES", for example.
There are many many this kind of rendering problem from 9/11 document. It is minor problem, but for me as not English mother language annoyed and puzzled.

I have my isilo 4.01 for Palm. It renders 100% correct in my Palm handheld. I don't know this problem of missing first quote " mark and first character the way to work out.

Please help to have solutions.
FYI, Microsoft windows reader is 100% correct, but I dont want to use that for my personal reason because my translatation software cant read MS reader and NY Times news stand, but yours does.

It could be a character encoding issue, so try the following:

1. Open the document in "iSilo for Windows"
2. Go to the Tools menu and click Options.
3. In the Options dialog, click the Display tab.
4. Near the bottom for the "Text encoding" field, set the option to "windows-1252".
5. Click OK.
