I find that the location guide in the toolbar is essentially meaningless, I would like to know how many K into the book I am. Mostly I read books I've converted from Gutenberg texts, these vary in length from short stories to novels over 900K. I don't bother with making pages. I can't tell how far it is to next chapter, 1% can be less tha 1k or more tha 9K. When I read a paperback I have a idea of how long it takes to read a page so if I estimate if I've got time to read the next chapter or not.
