When I use the clipper in the IE Tools menu, it works great but, does it register the path and filename anywhere so I can update it or convert it again? Is there an iSilo list somewhere that has the clipped documents on it?

The clipper is for one time uses only. You will need to use iSiloX if you want to create a conversion entry that you want to save.

Still, it would be nice if the original address of the clipping were saved somewhere in the clip. I habitually clip a few pages a day and it's not uncommon for me to read a clipping weeks later and wonder where on earth I picked it up.
A simple title page or last page with the address and clipper settings used would be great - sort of like exif data for an iSilo clip!

The URL being converted in the iSilo Clipper should be placed in the PublisherNotes section of Messages. While the information may not be in the most obvious place, I do think it is the most logical place for this metadata.

Okay, I just clipped a page, tapped Document Information, tapped More, tapped Publisher, and it says No information.
btw, I would like to keep this document current. I does good when clipped but I do not get anything when I drag the internet icon to iSiloX. To get to this page, I have to go through a couple of screens and then choose a county name from a drop-down box then click on a button to go to the appropriate page.
Why can Clipper get to the page but iSiloX can't?

I'm sorry. I was saying it would be a good place to put such information, but it is not currently a feature in iSilo.

By internet icon, I assume you are referring to the icon in the location bar. Apparently you are trying to convert the URL in two different ways, but it only works with one of them.
My guess is that either:
The iSiloX Clipper automatically sets up the cookies for your document. When you try to manually create an entry in iSiloX, you are not setting this up.
The iSiloX Clipper may not use the URL. Perhaps it uses the already downloaded web page[1].
In all likelihood, it is a bit of both: iSiloX Clipper uses the pre-downloaded page so it doesn't care about cookies, and the problem in iSiloX can be corrected by setting up the cookies for that web page.
[1] I kinda' suspect this is true based on the fact that you can narrow the converted information by selecting a region first.

Voltage Spike meant that the Publisher Notes section might be a good place to put the URL as a feature addition. There is currently no such feature.
In Internet Explorer, the iSiloX Clipper has direct access to the content of the current page provided by Internet Explorer, so the Clipper converts that content directly.
If you could provide the exact steps to use to get to the page you want to convert in Internet Explorer, in terms of the starting URL and the click path, perhaps we could figure out a way for you to add an entry to iSiloX.

Never mind, since the question was answered, I know that if I might want to update the document, I just put it in iSiloX instead of using clipper. It is not really worth worrying about or extended discussion. (unless you guys just get obsessed with the topic) ;{)>
