The changelist for 4.10 beta of iSilo for Palm OS lists "Added support for TH-55 left and right buttons" as one of the new features. What, exactly, has changed since 4.05?
In both versions of iSilo, the left and right buttons mapped to the "Up" and "Down" buttons, respectively. This means that, by default, both the left/right buttons and the scroll wheel function as Page Up and Page Down.
I can, and have, remapped the buttons based on my preferences, but it does make me wonder how this is a new feature.
Note that this may have something to do with the intermittant functionality experienced by Cyker, but his problem is not limited to iSilo and seems more like an "addressed issue".
Thanks.

The left and right buttons on the TH-55 are new buttons, hence there was previously no direct support for them, hence adding support for them is the new feature. Maybe you have some settings on your device or maybe it is a default of the TH-55 system to have them generate the equivalent of page up and page down. However, in version 4.1, when you view a page with content wider than the screen, the left and right buttons should scroll left and right, respectively. You should now also be able to map the Left and Right buttons to individual actions using the Button Options dialog.

I do not have a tool installed to remap the buttons, and I am not seeing the described behavior in 4.10b3a.
(For this test, I reverted every button to default in the "Options/Buttons..." dialog. Any attempts to reassign the "Left" and "Right" buttons were unsuccessful (although the "Up" and "Down" trick still works.) )

There is now another new interim update to beta 3, dubbed beta 3d, available here (http://www.isilo.com/info/beta/iSiloPalmOS.htm) that I believe should address that issue. Please give this latest beta update a try.

iSilo for PalmOS 4.10b3d now behaves as you described.
Thank you.

<Slightly off-topic, Background>
The button support is more a workaround for weirdness in the TH55 - Sony appear to have programmed the Left/Right buttons to have have dual-functionality; In some apps they work as Up/Down, in others Left/Right.
Unfortunately, their code does not work properly and it seems to randomly switch between the buttons doing either, and sometimes they don't work at all!!
iSilo is no longer affected as they've coded workarounds to address it (THANK YOU!!! :D), but a lot of other apps are still affected, pilot-db and Filez to name two.
I've found a workaround of sorts, which is to run GimmeFive and then exit it again without doing anything - This will temporarily restore the Up/Down functionality of the Left/Right buttons in other applications that don't have workarounds in place like iSilo.
I have not yet tracked down the conditions which cause the buttons to loos functionality 'tho, but even if I did I doubt Sony would fix it :(

I new there was some inconsistent behavior with those two buttons. Now I just need to pay more attention to find the pattern.
