I hate to sound negative, but what is actually faster about the "display speed" (or "improved text access speed")?

I am using a TH-55 with FontSilo fonts at the smallest setting, and I am comparing iSilo 4.05 to 4.10b3a.

The time it takes to process the page (tables and such) is marginally faster: 52s versus 55s.

The time it takes to "paint" a page appears identical between the two: about 2s to repaint the entire page.

Text searching on the other hand is wonderfully fast now. :)

I see that "improved Palm Doc text access speed" is once again on the list of features. Is this a more significant change than the last update, or did I misunderstand the concept in my last post?

An armlet has been added for decompression for Palm Doc files, so on Palm OS 5 devices, viewing/searching such documents should be faster. The 4.1 update had an armlet for iSilo documents but not Palm Doc documents.
