Hi,

I'm a physician and have now given up on Palm and am setting up isilo on my ipod touch (same as iphone). I run windows vista and am having trouble transferring the isilo files from the TX to the ipod touch. I purchased isilo for iphone and installed it on the ipod touch.

I can't seem to transfer files, even when following the detailed instructions isilo has specified.

Can some one give me some trouble shooting advice? The isilo documents are an integral part of my patient care and I really would like to have them with me on my touch.

Thanks, Dave Olson, MD

Hi,

I discovered that one of my isilo files transferred to the touch! I think this has something to do with the "file server view" on the touch. When I click on the Z drive I set up in "My computer", I get a message saying "Z drive is inaccessible". Is the drive only accessible in a certain view on the isilo program on my touch? It seems that if I can open up the Z drive and drag and drop my files. How do I make the drive accessible?

Incidentally, the file I have on the touch is superb...clean, pristine and I love it. I just need to get all the others transferred.

Thanks, Dave Olson, MD

First, you can only transfer files while your device is on and iSilo is running. And by default for security, the iSilo file server is only enabled when you have iSilo in the File Server View.

So make sure that you have your device on with iSilo started and in the File Server View.

For more details about the File Server View, you can look in the "file server" section of the manual. An online version of the manual for iSilo for iPhone is available here (http://www.isilo.com/support/manual/iSiloIP/iSiloManual.htm).

Dave,

Which medical iSilo files do you find most useful?
