Woo my first post :D

*ahem*
Just a small trivial request:
Can the Document List Options -> Recent List be made an arbitary field?
Or, alternatively, have the number 15 added to the allowable values?

ATM it starts at 10 and goes up in 10s, but I'd like to set mine to 15 (Because my TH55 can display exactly 15 documents without scrolling when the VG area is down :)

Also, thanks for adding TH55 Left/Right support - They no longer work intermittantly, which is wonderful!
I'm still trying to figure out why the sometimes stop working in some applications until you Soft Reset, but it seems to be fairly random so far...
Whatever you did has fixed it in iSilo however! :)

The improved OS5 code is great - small-font/high-density text updates a lot faster and images that were decoding slowly before now download as fast as the fast-decoding images did; Excellent stuff! :)

However, the file browser seems to have taken a hit in speed, espescially the "Recently Opened", "Updated" and "Catagorised" tabs. This might just be due to beta code and/or debug symbols 'tho.

Actually, now that I think about it, can you add a options to disable the "Updated tab" and also the "Uncatagorised" list within the "Catagories tab"?
(I know, I'm sorry! And after all these people demanding it too! But for me the whole "Catagories" tab has been superceded by the "Favorite Folders" tab - My VFS Folders *are* my Catagories now ;)

I also use the TH55 and I have noticed no such behavior. However, I immediately reprogrammed the left and right buttons (which are the hardware up and down buttons, respectively) to behave in iSilo as screen left and screen right, respectively. I'll have to investigate the new beta to see how this has changed.

Either way, at least you're happy. :-)

I dunno what it is, but my TH55's buttons will occasionally stop working in certain things.

For instance, when you pull down a menu, scrolling up on the jog should advance the menu if you're at the top, and scrolling down will scroll down through the list of menu items. Pressing the jog will select that option.
However this often stops working, but a soft reset will bring it back.

Similarly, the Left/Right buttons are meant to double as Up/Down in apps that don't support Left/Right, but often on mine I find they stop working! They'll always work in stuff like Memopad, Clie Files etc, but when they go intermittant they'll stop working in stuff like QED, Filez, PilotDB etc.

It's a weird bug - I suspect some proggy I have is interfering with whatever patches Sony has installed into the OS to map Left/Right to Up/Down, but even if I hard reset and copy over just QED, I can still duplicate this problem (Not right away, but after a little whole of use...)

This is pretty off-topic 'tho as it is not a problem with iSilo any more :)
