Can isilo take advantage of the extra window area on the T3?
Thanks

Yes. The catch is that you must install the Tungsten T3 DIA Compatibility prcs (http://www.isilo.com/download/dl/T3_DIA_Compatibility_prcs.zip).

Yes.
I think this should be qualified slightly. It's true that iSilo allows reading docs on the full 320x480 as well as 480x320 landscape mode and this is great for us T3 owners. However, the app itself isn't fully comfortable running with the graffiti area hidden the whole time. For example, in landscape usage of the find function (iSilo's find - NOT the system wide find) leads to a corrupted screen under the find window and then to a fatal exception.
In general I find that if my screen is extended iSilo is much happier using portrait mode than landscape.

And does the corruption anc fatal exception happen with every document you try to search in landscape mode or just with certain documents?

v4.05.
Any document.
Also, I'm not that wild about the fact that my graffiti area appears for any 'settings' window. For example, when editing my categories I'd like to use all of the space. With on screen grafiti allowed on the T3 there's no reason I shouldn't be able to but I can't.
Incidentally, the reason I haven't posted this bug is that I got bored of posting bugs and getting no responses. See here (http://forum.isilo.com/showthread.php?t=400), here (http://forum.isilo.com/showthread.php?t=268) and
here (http://forum.isilo.com/showthread.php?t=271).
Even my constructive suggestions (here (http://forum.isilo.com/showthread.php?t=275) and here (http://forum.isilo.com/showthread.php?t=167)) were ignored.
So I figured this is a pretty unresponsive crowd and decided to help out where I could (see this thread).

v4.05.
Any document.I have not been able to reproduce the problem on a T3, trying with several different documents, and trying all possible orientations and handedness, with/without Graffiti area. If you haven't already, can you try to see whether it happens with the iSiloManual document and the iSiloDisplaySample document?

Even my constructive suggestions (here (http://forum.isilo.com/showthread.php?t=275) and here (http://forum.isilo.com/showthread.php?t=167)) were ignored. With regard to suggestions and requests, all suggestions and requests are taken into consideration (http://forum.isilo.com/announcement.php?f=33), which means that there won't usually be any official specific affirmation of when requests and suggestions will make it in. But the forum provides a way for you to make your suggestions and requests public and anyone is free to discuss and comment on it. Please don't feel discouraged if there are no responses.

The 4.05 beta implementation of the document list was essentially all brand new with quite a bit of internal complexity. So there were numerous problem reports and for which many of the issues were difficult to reproduce. As a result, there were several beta revisions. With each revision, anybody who reported a problem should really have been asked (but was not) to retest with the updated beta.
So I figured this is a pretty unresponsive crowd and decided to help out where I could (see this thread). The crowd is still quite small and people usually come by to browse only and only register when they encounter a problem not yet brought up.

Nothing in the world is perfect. Every software has a few glitches. Since I found iSilo, it has become my document reader of choice. If I could edit with it, I would consider it to be as close to perfect as anything I've seen.
After that, if it could read my TomeRaider dictionary files, I would never need anything else.
