4.10b1 Registration

The new beta 4.10b1 came up as unregistered after HotSyncing it over my registered 4.05. Reentering my registration code recovered its registered status.

Also, the Uncategorized listing included every non-application in my /Palm/Launcher/ directory, none of which was an iSilo document. Shouldn't iSilo check to see if these files are its document type?

If you don't plan on using the /Palm/Launcher directory for iSilo documents, then you might consider removing it from your Favorite Folders list (Tools/Edit Favorite Folders... from the Document List View).

You may also have some success with limiting the document types (Options/Document List... from the Document List View). More specifically, uncheck the "Other" box.

Thanks for reporting the problem about the registration not carrying over. That will be fixed for the next update to the beta.

One of the changes in version 4.1 to speed up the listing when you go to a new directory is that by default, files on cards are not checked for their internal file type. So if you want to keep the Launcher directory as a favorite folder and you don't want other file types listed, you will need to enable the document type filtering option, by doing the following:

In the document list view Options menu, tap Document Types.
In the Document Type Options dialog, under Document types to list, uncheck Other.
Under Files on storage cards, check Use document type filtering.
Tap OK.

Thanks for both answers. Although I use iSilo a lot, I haven't explored the settings much. Great program!
