Is there a limit on how many document iSilo can handle on a single device? I have a pretty good library (25 or 30 documents) on my XV6900 (Audiovox) running Windows Mobile Pro 6.1.

Lately, with a couple of different documents, I am having a problem with Bookmarks. Bookmarks native to the document (the one's added by the creator) work fine. However, when I attempt to ADD a Bookmark, everything appears to work fine, but the Bookmark will end up looking like 'x0||~' (or something equally weird).

If I go to 'Rename' the Bookmark, iSilo will accept my renaming and the Bookmark will look fine after that. However, that makes two steps for every Bookmark I add. This issue has only presented itself on a couple of documents, so far.

I tried deleting all the Bookmarks and starting from scratch, but that did NOT make the issue go away.

Also, I have one document that will "accept" the entry of an Annotation, but the next time I open the document, the Annotation has disappeared.

By the way, this document is one of the documents that is also displaying the Bookmark issue.

Any ideas?

There is no limit other than memory on the number of documents iSilo can handle.

For the bookmarks, the bookmark in the document likely got corrupted. Either it was corrupted before you made changes or some sequence of changes you made resulted in their corruption, which could potentially be the result of a bug. Do you still have the original .pdb file before you made any changes?

For the annotation issue, there is a bug that was recently discovered in which if the path to the annotation file is greater than 64 characters, then the path to the annotation file gets mangled, which could result in the behavior you describe. Is it the case that the path to the annotations file is greater than 64 characters in your case?

An interesting thing happened. When I tried again to add an Annotation, the Annotation was successfully added AND the previous Annotation (that had previously failed to appear) also appeared in the document.

No, the path is NOT more than 64 characters in length.

Yes, I still have the .pdb file as I downloaded it (on my PC), but I haven't tried reinstalling it. I haven't tried adding any new Bookmarks to the affected documents because it was so frustrating to do so.
