Installed 4.05, want to go back to earlier version

Hi there,

I recently upgraded to 4.05 from an earlier version (believe it was 4.0) on my Clie. I'm not crazy about the new interface (for my purposes) and would like to go back to my earlier version.

However, I have 500 documents installed on my Clie's Memory stick and shudder at the prospect of having to recatagorize them.

I back up on a regular basis. Would it be as simple as installing my old program and prefs over the new ones or ...?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When you initially ran version 4.05, you were asked whether you wanted to delete the old settings database. If you said no (e.g., do not delete), then it would be as simple as just reinstalling the previous version of iSilo.

However, if you said yes instead, then you would also need to restore the _iSiloSettingsDB_ file.

So in either case, yes, it would be as simple as restoring your old prefs/program.
