hyper-link with different documents

I'm new so I may be writing my question in the wrong letter. I have a sylabus to a book I am reading. The Sylabus already has references to the book that are set up to hyper-link. How do I get the hyperlink to leave the sylabus and go to the reference in the book?

If the book and the syllabus are in two seperate iSilo documents, then you cannot create such links. In other words, iSilo cannot link between different documents (not to be confused with pages).

If the syllabus and the book are in the same iSilo document, you may wish to explore the "Document Properties:Links:MaximumDepth" and "Document Properties:Links:SubDirOnly" options (see here (http://isilox.com/support/manual/iSiloX/ReferenceManual/DocumentProperties/Links.htm) for more information).
