These instructions are for your information.

If you have a jailbroken iPhone then,

If you have a Mac, install Netatalk (available via Cydia). Installing this program/package on the iPhone will allow you to use the standard apple file sharing to connect your iPhone.

If you have a PC, install iPhoneBrowser. Go to http://code.google.com/p/iphonebroweser/

Hope this is helpful.

Remove the second to last 'e'
(browser vs. broweser)

the link is simply misspelled: http://code.google.com/p/iphonebroweser/
should read: Go to http://code.google.com/p/iphonebrowser/

that's all

This is a little tricky since there is no folder called iSilo.

I performed a search looking for *.pdb (.pdb in a mac).

Once I found the directory, I navigated to that directory and copy the files.

I have used iSilox to generate content for me in the past to supply files to my Palm which was essentially a single click on a executable file to create it and place it in a location so that the next synch of the device would download the data to correct location.

What I am hearing from this thread is that you will have to hack the iSilox files onto the iPhone in order to get the same functionality. Does iSilo have a supported method for this thats more automated?

Taking into consideration all possible factors, including time and resource constraints, the ability to download from a web server became the initial available method in the initial version.

We are working on additional file transfer methods that should make it easier in the future.
