Rendering speed seems slow

When I try to scroll my documents, they scroll slowly and/or in a choppy manner. It seems that the rendering speed is too slow. Is there any way this can be improved?

any recent news on this issue? i thought maybe the latest version would contain a fix but i still notice the lag when scrolling.

We are working on optimizing the scrolling/rendering speed. That is the priority for the next update.
