I've been following the instructions in "How to transfer files to iSilo™ for iPhone OS on Mac OS X" but when I get to step 14 and try to connect to my Mac I'm given a "Forbidden" page and cannot access my Mac. Any ideas what may be causing this? Thank you.

Take a look at the second page of the main thread of the topic on how to transfer files on Mac OS X (http://forum.isilo.com/showthread.php?t=4687). There is some discussion on the forbidden issue.

Someone please help!

The step-by-step guide is useless for helping me with this problem.

I discovered that, in my case, the problem was that I did not have permissions on my home directory to be world readable. Mine was 750, which blocked out http access of any directories within my home directory.

Take a look at this thread (http://forum.isilo.com/showthread.php?t=4713&highlight=forbidden) which has a few ideas you can try regarding seeing a forbidden message.

I'm having issues as well but not forbidden errors. Rather I just get timeout errors where the 'server' is not responding. I can reach the URL fine locally from the macbook i'm using but not from the iphone. Any suggestions?

I'm tailing the output of the access logs of apache and it doesn't show the iphone even trying to connect so it's like the connection is being refused. Both are connected to my wifi router and on local IP addresses so they should be able to see each other just fine. :S

On which operating system is the web server? Have you checked your firewall settings?
