Known issues in iSilo 5.03 running in BB 4.5?

I have upgraded my BB 8320 to v4.5.0.52 (platform 2.7.0.66).

My old iSilo 5.0.2 displays Chinese characters just fine in the old BB OS (v4.2.xx). But under the new OS, the Chinese characters show up as question marks. Upgrading to 5.0.3 didn't help.

Most every other apps on my device show Chinese characters without problems (contacts, built-in browser, opera 4.1). Changing the font used in iSilo doesn't help.

Are there any known issues / workarounds?

Replying to my own question-- turns out it's not an issue. The OS I downloaded does not support Chinese, and I added the support myself by some kinds of hacks. It looked like I didn't copy enough files over.

Once I got the right files over, iSilo works like a charm.
