I have create a small iSilo file.
It is from HTML files
The main file is an alphabetic index (A B C,...) and there is links from letter A to a page, and so on. Each page is like a dictionnary. Example:
ENTRY=definition.

Fo each entry, I have make in my HTML an anchor like (<A Name="ENTRY">ENTRY</A>.
So for each page A, B, C,.. I have many independants bookmarks create by the ISiloX converter (checkink 'Generate bookmark from named anchords').

When a user access on the alphabetic page 'A' for example, I need to see *only the bookmark of this page* not all bookmark that were created for all aphabetic page ; that is my question !
I need an options that allow a user for seeing local bookmark or all bookmarks exists in the whole iSilo file.
Is there a way for limit the bookmark scope by document HTML and NOT the whole iSilo file ?

Thanks.

There is no way to limit the bookmarks shown to just those on the current page.

Thank you for the reply.

So, what is the way to create per page HTML a Tbale Of Contents ?

You could place your table of contents at the top of the page then. You would of course have to do this yourself.

I haven't found the answer to this question on the threads, yet.

The last post over a year ago said there is no way to see bookmarks specifically for a certain page. That would be a very useful feature. I'm only a user, not a programer, so I don't know how difficult these issues are, but it would be nice to have this fixed in future editions. (E.g., so I could set bookmarks that would only show up when I had a certain page open, or to be able to jump between documents to key bookmarks.)

A related question: I understand Global Bookmarks are obsolete remnants. But there are still Document and Local Bookmarks: what is the difference? The only one I see is that they are slightly separated on the bookmarks screen. Thanks!

Local bookmarks are stored in the iSilo™ settings database of your device. If you transfer a document to another device, local bookmarks do not travel with the document.

Document bookmarks are stored in the actual document. If you transfer a document with document bookmarks to another device, those document bookmarks also travel with the document.
