isilo killing wifi hotsync

Hi,

I own a clie NX-73V and a wireless Lan card for it.

After installing Isilo and Isilox I experience some strange problems.
If I want to synchronize a document to ms it works via cable, but if I use wifi hotsync the sync of the doc is always the last thing that is tried by the hotsync aplication before it times out with the error message "The connection between the handheld and the desktop got lost " (or something like that - had to translate it from german to english).

When trying to wifi sync to ms I get the following lines in hotsync protokoll:

Is there any solution for my problem?

That sounds like a problem with HotSync. Sorry, don't know about any solutions. Anybody else is free to chime in.

For me it sounds like a problem of iilo not addressing the right external storage device.

As normal hotsyncs work it is capable of writing the data to ms if ms is the first external storage.

During wifi hotsynch i guess that the cf wifi card becomes the first external card and ms the second. Further I guess that now isilo tries to hotsync the data not to the ms but to the cf wifi card which rejects it, cause it's no storage media.

No, it does not sound like a problem with the iSilo install conduit.

Your WiFi card does not have storage capabilities, correct? Assuming so, the Palm OS/HotSync mechanism would not list it as a VFS volume. The iSilo install conduit only writes to VFS volumes.

Try installing the iSiloX 4.05 beta, which allows you to explicitly specify where you want a file installed to using a path such as /VolumeName/Palm/Programs/iSilo/. In addition when you do this and the installation fails, there are additional messages written to the log.

And yes, my MS PRO is named MS (at least cardinfo tells me it's named like that).

What you be able to post the entire contents of the log for the complete HotSync? Maybe there is something else in there that may give us more clues.

I have tried both syncing to my memory stick using the default "External Memory" and hand typing the path.
