I moved from an old Garmin-Palm to an BB 8830 (Verizon world edition) and was very disappointed with the performance of mobireader (I keep 8Mbyte file lists that I search through). I'm excited that iSilo is now available as I bought a license for my Palm, years ago.
However, iSilo search on the Blackberry is 1/6 the speed that it is on the old Palm. My question is whether it's slow because iSilo is new on the BB and not optimized yet, or whether the Blackberry is just a really slow device. Specifications seem to say that it's faster (312MHz vs 200Mhz ) than the Palm.
Would someone from the iSilo team please reply? Is there a faster version of iSilo coming?
